In Andhra Pradesh, despite controversies and protests, the Group-2 Mains exams were conducted across the state. The exams were held at 175 centers, with 92,250 candidates attending. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) made full arrangements for the exams. However, a special incident on the first day of the exams caught everyone's attention. A bride attended the exam in her wedding saree at the Padmavati Women’s Degree College examination center in Tirupati.

Namitha, from Tirupati, got married this morning. Knowing she had an exam, she went directly to the exam center right after her wedding, still wearing her wedding saree and with a traditional jilakara bellam on her head. Her family members and friends wished her well, while the other candidates and staff at the exam center were left astonished. Driven by her determination to attend the Group-2 exam, Namitha did not delay her wedding celebrations and appeared for the exam as planned.

In the days leading up to the exams, candidates had protested, urging the government to address errors in the roster system and to postpone the exams. Although the government responded positively to the protests, the APPSC clarified that due to the election code in effect, the exams would be conducted according to the original schedule. In this context, Namitha's unwavering commitment has become an inspiration to many.
